BBQ safety

With the recent hot dry weather and the vegetation so brown there is a heightened risk of fire. Please do not hold BBQ's in our parks and open spaces until conditions improve.

Cabinet on tour

As part of the Cabinet on Tour programme, the most recent cabinet meeting took place on Wednesday 20 July in Sandhurst. The next scheduled meeting will be held in Paddock Wood on 22 September.

Issues discussed included parking charges and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This was followed by a Q and A with members of the public.

We are launching a new feature on our TWBC Climate Action website to celebrate climate action happening across the borough. Share your story to help create a climate resilient borough and build our climate-conscious community.

Cabaret Mechanical Marvels at the Amelia Scott

We are very excited to announce that our new exhibition at the Amelia Scott, Cabaret Mechanical Marvels, opens today! The exhibition celebrates the fascinating world of automata, masterpieces of creative thought, made by some the finest contemporary automata artists from across the UK. Containing hands on interactives, this exhibition is a fun-filled family entertainment show and perfect to bring the kids to. The exhibition is produced by Cabaret Mechanical Theatre.

New subscriptions for our fortnightly garden waste collection service are open.

Find out more and sign up on our website. If you are already signed up for the garden waste service you do not need to do anything. We will contact you when your subscription is due for renewal.

All bins are being collected from 6am until further notice due to hot weather.

Remember you can put old batteries out during your recycling collection week and small electrical items and textiles on your refuse collection week.
