Tunbridge Wells Borough Eco Arts 2022
 

Eco Artists 2022

TWBC is launching their first ever Eco Arts competition; a climate change-themed art competition for young people across the borough. Any young creator under the age of 18 is encouraged to enter. There will be prizes for winning entries and these will be displayed in the Trinity Gallery during the Great Big Green Week.

Green Flags flying once again

Flags are flying in parks across Tunbridge Wells following the news this week that six of our parks and green spaces have retained their Green Flag Award for another year.

The award-winning spaces are:

  • Dunorlan Park
  • Calverley Grounds
  • Grosvenor and Hilbert Park
  • Woodbury Park Cemetery
  • St John's Recreation Ground
  • The Grove

The Green Flag Award is the international quality mark for parks and green spaces.

Vashti Hardy comes to The Amelia Scott

As part of this year's 'Gadgeteers!' themed Summer Reading Challenge, the incredible Vashti Hardy (award winning author of the bestselling Harley Hitch series), will be joining us in The Amelia Scott in Royal Tunbridge Wells at 10.30am on Wednesday 3 August for an exciting and unmissable talk about how science and engineering inspires her stories and characters!

The Amelia
 

We are very excited to announce that our new exhibition at the Amelia Scott, Cabaret Mechanical Marvels, is open! The exhibition celebrates the fascinating world of automata, masterpieces of creative thought, made by some the finest contemporary automata artists from across the UK. Containing hands on interactives, this exhibition is a fun-filled family entertainment show and perfect to bring the kids to. The exhibition is produced by Cabaret Mechanical Theatre.
