Heat Wave Advice

High demand for water is to be expected during this heat alert but please use water wisely.

South East Water restrictions on the use of hosepipes and water sprinklers are now in place. This step has been taken to ensure there is enough water for both essential use and to protect the environment.

An amber heat warning is in place until Sunday. This means vulnerable people's health could be impacted. Look out for older people and others who may find it more difficult to stay cool and hydrated in hot weather.

Reconnect Kent

Reconnect is a Kent County Council-led community-based programme designed to get Kent's children and young people thriving following the pandemic.

Clubs, businesses and organisations have come together to create fabulous opportunities for children and young people. Together they can have fun, catch up on missed learning, engage in sports and activities, trips and experiences, receive mental health support, regain their confidence and gain access to career development opportunities.
