Community support fund
The cost-of-living crisis is directly impacting upon many of the most vulnerable households in the borough. Tunbridge Wells Borough Council wishes to provide financial assistance to organisations within the community that are working hard to support our residents.

Warm Space at the TN2 Centre
A Warm Space in TN2, Sherwood opened on Thursday 15 December, and will be open most Thursdays and Fridays until end of February from 1-5pm. Find directions to the TN2 Centre on Google maps.
Do more, see more, save more with the GO card this Christmas
GO is a free membership scheme aimed at people on low incomes who receive benefits or students who are 16+ in full time education. It offers generous discounts at sport, recreational, leisure and cultural facilities. Find out more online.

Christmas bin collections
Bin collection dates are changing over Christmas and New Year, with most collections being made a day later than normal.
The Council has received the Planning Inspector's initial findings following the examination of the proposed new Local Plan at hearing sessions that took place earlier this year.

Events
The repair café is open on 14 January at Trinity Theatre from 9:45am. Bring your broken household items for repair! More information is available on the Trinity Theatre website.
Skate Tunbridge Wells is open seven days a week till Monday 2 January 2023 (closed Christmas Day), the ice rink and festive stalls are a five minute walk from the train station, and make for a special seasonal experience! Find out more on the Assembly Hall website.

Local Councillors are elected by the community to decide how the council should carry out its various activities. They represent public interest as well as individuals living within the ward.
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council publish a full list of the decisions taken at Council meetings along with the Forward Plan, a list of forthcoming decisions to be taken.
Consultations and Engagement
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council currently has four consultations available to take part in.
Kent County Council look after the county's highways and roads and are responsible for issuing permits and licences for road closures. Kent County Council publish an online map of planned roadworks in the area.
