Device recycling scheme

Kent County Council have launched a recycling scheme for residents, businesses, charities, and other organisations to dispose of unwanted IT equipment and assets easily, safely, securely and in a way that minimises the impact on the environment.

Local Plan: Call for sites... one week left to reply

TWBC is carrying out a 'Call for Sites' to identify available and suitable development sites to deliver the strategy and vision for Royal Tunbridge Wells Town Centre over the next 15 years until 2040.

The 'Call for Sites' consultation period has been extended until Friday 18 August 2023.

Sites can be submitted online, via email or by post. To obtain a site submission form and further details please visit our website.

Crescent Road toilets

You may have heard that the public toilets at Crescent Road car park, Royal Tunbridge Wells will be permanently closed from 2 October.

Alternative facilities are available just a short walk away in the nearby Amelia Scott building.

Your food waste is collected weekly on the same day as your recycling or household waste collection and it may be collected by a separate lorry at a different time of the day.

Got an awkward or bulky item to dispose of? Our bulky waste collection service will remove heavy or large items too big to fit in your bin. Book your collection online. To visit the household waste recycling centre at North Farm you must book a slot in advance using the Kent County Council (KCC) booking system.

Remember you can put old batteries out during your recycling collection week and small electrical items and textiles on your refuse collection week.

Kent County Council look after the county's highways and roads and are responsible for issuing permits and licences for road closures. Kent County Council publish an online map of planned roadworks in the area.
