Business Decarbonisation Grants: deadline 15 JulyThe Council is offering grants of up to £2,499 for business decarbonisation projects across the borough.
Eligible projects include:
Installing low carbon infrastructure (including LED lighting)
Purchasing energy efficient equipment
Undertaking carbon audits
Formulating business decarbonisation plans

Paddock Wood Athletic ClubPaddock Wood AC have been running the athletics week since 1990.
Participants from 6 to 15 years will be able to take part in most athletic field events such as hammer and high jump and running from 100m upwards.
The event runs from 10am- 3pm Monday to Friday, starting 29 July.
You can complete an application form on the Paddock Wood Athletics Club website.

Your food waste is collected weekly on the same day as your recycling or household waste collection and it may be collected by a separate lorry at a different time of the day.
Got an awkward or bulky item to dispose of? Our bulky waste collection service will remove heavy or large items too big to fit in your bin. To visit the household waste recycling centre at North Farm you must book a slot in advance using the Kent County Council booking system.
Remember you can put old batteries out during your recycling collection week and small electrical items and textiles on your household waste collection week.
