What are we doing about climate change?We have just released our Borough Climate Change Strategy for consultation! The Council has developed this borough-wide Climate Change Strategy to identify the key actions required to set the borough on the path to net zero. It has been designed with residents in mind, ensuring that community is at the heart of all that we do. It is now your turn to tell us what you think! There are many ways to share your views, you can read the strategy and feed back on Talking Point, you can take our short survey, and you can register to attend a focus group! | | |

Student money courseA student money management course for school leavers interested in discovering the best ways to manage their money through their next adventure will be held at Tunbridge Wells Baptist Church on 31 August starting at 10am. This course is open to everyone who is looking to go onto further education, and parents are welcome to attend.

Royal Tunbridge Wells Art Society: Summer exhibitionRoyal Tunbridge Wells Art Society's exhibition of affordable, creative art and ceramics is currently at the Sussex House on the Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells. It ends this Sunday, so pop in any day between 10am – 4pm.
Their Summer 2024 exhibition also takes place at Sussex House from 16 – 25 August, 10am – 4pm every day.

Your food waste is collected weekly on the same day as your recycling or household waste collection and it may be collected by a separate lorry at a different time of the day.
Got an awkward or bulky item to dispose of? Our bulky waste collection service will remove heavy or large items too big to fit in your bin. To visit the household waste recycling centre at North Farm you must book a slot in advance using the Kent County Council booking system.
Remember you can put old batteries out during your recycling collection week and small electrical items and textiles on your household waste collection week.
