Kent and Medway Safe HavensSafe Havens provide emotional support and practical information to individuals who may be in crisis or heading towards a crisis situation. These services can also provide information and signposting to broader support services, including those that support with housing, benefits, and debt management.

Striking the Balance: KCC's Local Transport PlanKent County Council (KCC) is looking for comments on its new Local Transport Plan 5 'Striking the Balance'. This is the strategic plan for Kent that aims to improve all types of journeys.
All the information about the plan and how you can respond can be found on the KCC website.
There is also a drop in session when you can speak with KCC Officers on 3 October between 12-4pm at The Amelia Scott in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council will also be preparing a response to the document. | |

Your food waste is collected weekly on the same day as your recycling or household waste collection and it may be collected by a separate lorry at a different time of the day.
Got an awkward or bulky item to dispose of? Our bulky waste collection service will remove heavy or large items too big to fit in your bin. To visit the household waste recycling centre at North Farm you must book a slot in advance using the Kent County Council booking system.
Remember you can put old batteries out during your recycling collection week and small electrical items and textiles on your household waste collection week.
