A constellation of a person running.

Parkrun wants you!

On Saturday, 7 December, at 7.30pm RTW parkrun is hosting a social in The George. Anyone who's a part of parkrun or is interested in finding out more can come along and meet others.

Then on Wednesday, 25 December, they are holding a special extra parkrun for Christmas Day – the only time they host a parkrun on a day other than Saturday. As usual it starts at 9am, with introductory briefings at 8.50am, in Dunorlan Park near the café. Everyone is welcome and we get a good mix of families, friends, couples, and those who are on their own and would like some company. Some people like to dress up, people bring treats and drinks and there's a really festive atmosphere.

A constellation that is a musical note

Wealden Vocals is a mixed-voice concert choir based around Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. They sing a range of styles including pop, gospel, and classical, giving termly concerts at local venues and often raising funds for a number of charitable causes. They are a friendly group of 40-plus singers: no auditioning required, although they have a fairly large turnover of music for concerts, so a willingness to learn and take risks is essential!

If you are interested in trying out, send an email at wealdenvocals@gmail.com, or come see them at their concert at St Nicholas Church, Sevenoaks on Saturday 21 December, 7pm.

A constellation that is an angel
