Your Local
Update
from TWBC
|
|
Hello digitalservices@tunbridgewells.gov.uk
Here is your weekly update from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council
|
The future of Royal Victoria PlaceAn exciting engagement initiative launches today to shape the future of Royal Victoria Place (RVP). Since Tunbridge Wells Borough Council purchased the centre in October 2023, there's been a growing opportunity to reimagine what RVP could be for the people who live, work, and visit Royal Tunbridge Wells. This engagement is about starting that conversation. Your ideas, your feedback, and your voice will help shape what comes next.
How to get involved
Online: From 2 May to 25 May, you can share your thoughts through a quick survey. Visit rvpfuture.com to take part.
If you know someone without access to the internet, they can contact the engagement mailbox on 07808 871 035 to request a call back or a printed copy of the survey. Please spread the word.
Borough-wide engagement events: We're bringing the conversation to the wider borough with a series of pop-up events between Thursday 8 May to Saturday 10 May. Visit the website to find out more. | |

Roadworks on Upper Grosvenor Road A reminder that from next Monday essential gas network upgrades begin along Upper Grosvenor Rd, Tunbridge Wells. This first phase of work will last for approximately five months. A diversion will be in place. Allow extra time if you're travelling in this area.
The work should not affect household recycling and waste collections but there may be some changes to the times collections take place.

Your food waste is collected weekly on the same day as your recycling or household waste collection and it may be collected by a separate lorry at a different time of the day.
Got an awkward or bulky item to dispose of? Our bulky waste collection service will remove heavy or large items too big to fit in your bin. To visit the household waste recycling centre at North Farm you must book a slot in advance using the Kent County Council booking system.
Remember you can put old batteries out during your recycling collection week and small electrical items and textiles on your household waste collection week.
Check our waste and recycling pages for more information.
