Transforming Calverley Precinct and FivewaysRoyal Tunbridge Wells Together Business Improvement District (RTWT BID) and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council are looking at ways to improve the public realm at the Clocktower and Calverley Precinct in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The project is seeking to address issues such as seating, planting and lighting. Representatives from the BID and TWBC will be in the Precinct between 12-2pm on Saturday 20 September to ask people out and about in the town centre what improvements they would like to see. Please come along and let us know your views, which can also be sent via email to consultation@kanerolette.co.uk.

Micro grants available for businessesSmall and micro businesses in Tunbridge Wells Borough can apply for £500 grants towards business development initiatives to help them grow. This is a West Kent wide scheme, with businesses in Sevenoaks District and Tonbridge and Malling Borough eligible to apply too. Full details, the criteria and the application form can all be found online.
These grants are funded by UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. | |

Your food waste is collected weekly on the same day as your recycling or household waste collection and it may be collected by a separate lorry at a different time of the day.
Got an awkward or bulky item to dispose of? Our bulky waste collection service will remove heavy or large items too big to fit in your bin. To visit the household waste recycling centre at North Farm you must book a slot in advance using the Kent County Council booking system.
Remember you can put old batteries out during your recycling collection week and small electrical items and textiles on your household waste collection week.
