Community Governance ReviewIn June we asked residents, businesses, and community groups to share their views on the idea of creating a new parish and/or town council(s) to represent the six unparished areas of Tunbridge Wells.
Phase one of the public consultation demonstrated overall support for the idea of creating a town council. Of the 1,044 responses received, 60% were in favour of creating a new parish and/or town council(s), and of those, 67% said there should be one town council to represent the six unparished areas.
This second phase of public consultation is asking for your views on how a town council could work. Take part now.
